About

I am Herukhuti Sharif, known only as Anthony S. Gay by those associated with the Amerikkkan Empire and dominant culture. I am an ultra-humanist, a self determinationist/collective autarkist and a maroonist, ideologically and philosophically. I am an author, writer, mentor, teacher, historian, and anthropologist; a son, father and grandfather. A human being! I am also a victim of genocide, tortured on a daily basis, nutritionally deprived, socially dead and wondering why no one gives a damn.

My motivation for participating in this dialogue is so that we ALL recognize and the pro-actively engage in our roles as mutual stakeholders in our struggles for independence, agency and meaningful lives. My Intent is not to merely complain about our circumstances as prisoners, or to glean some temporary satisfaction from "being heard." That's a very myopic perception of what's going on here. No, what this is about is: one community WAKING UP; acknowledging and accepting the clear vision of what's going on; and deciding to no longer be the objects and victims of history. Seeing the biggest picture possible is key here. whereby, we, as the underdeveloped oppressed class, initiate a "decolonization process" that evolves into full scale counter-cultural lifestyles and modes of resistance and defection from systems designed to exploit us.
